RESPONDING TO GROUP COMMENTS

When you meet with your teacher for the Role Conference you will be expected to have a discussion on two activities that you must complete:

  1. Whatever work you have completed and posted around your role in the Chunk.
  2. Commenting on posts from your group mates and their work.  If someone in your group is not active you might consider posing a comment/question/observaton that they could examine.  An example might be,  you might address the Illustrator and point out that on page ___ there seems to be some vivide descriptive language about a park that is essential to the Chunk and that they might consider drawing it.

Illustrator Helper!

Hello future artistes,  remember to post daily about things you notice in your novel such as –descriptive writing, imagery, symbolism.

We realize a few of you are having questions about how to post your illustrations, here are a couple of ideas, based on what previous students have done:

Online Sketchpad – you can copy and paste a photo of your drawing/illustrations right on to the site, share and get a url to share here is an example:

Web White board – draw directly on to the white board- add written text as well  you can share this url with your group: the link below will bring you to the example.
