Hello parents and welcome to room 25’s February message. As you know, February was “I Love to Read Month”. During the month we did fun activities like pajama day, book trivia Tuesdays, winter carnival and book movie day. We celebrated Valentines Day as well.

In Math we were studying division and fractions. In ELA we have been working on writing dreams and revising/editing skills. Every second week Trapper the dog has been visiting us. In Science we have been studying forces including magnetism and gravity. In Health we have begun our study of nutrition with the Canadian food guide. In Social Studies we have learned some mapping skills and are now beginning to study the culture of some countries of the world. We have begun to learn some winter vocabulary in French class and in Gym we were doing badminton.  We are looking forward to spring break and some warmer weather. Report cards and student–led conferences will happen shortly.
