Throughout September in ELA we have been practicing our Daily 3 (read to self, read to someone and teacher time).  We also have been practicing writing lots of stories during Writer’s Workshop. In math, we have been working on recognizing numbers from 1-10 in all different kinds of ways.

In Spanish, we have been practicing our “Dario 3” (leer solo, leer con alguien y tiempo con la maestra). We also have been practicing writing lots of stories during “Taller de Escritores.” We have been learning and talking about class pets in Spanish. As a class we have decided that it would be easier to take care of fish (peces). So we have been learning all about “peces” and how to take care of them before we officially set up our fish tank.

As a class, we have been working on our learning how to focus for a long period of time without getting tired or giving up during all our work.

Historia de Septiembre – Cuarto 12 – Grado 1 Inmersión en Español

Durante el mes de septiembre en ELA hemos practicado nuestro “Daily 3” (leer solo, leer con aliguen y tiempo con la maestra). También hemos practicado escribiendo muchas historias durante “Writer’s Workshop.” En matemáticas, hemos trabajado en subitizar los números 1-10, usando un marco de diez, rekenrek, dados, cuenta y también cómo escribir el número en palabras.

En español, hemos practicado nuestro “Dario 3” (leer solo, leer con alguien y tiempo con la maestra). También hemos practicado escribir muchas historias durante “Taller de Escritores.” Hemos aprendido y hablando de mascotas para la clase en español. Como clase hemos decidido que sería más fácil cuidar los peces. Así que hemos aprendido todo sobre los “peces” y cómo cuidar los peces antes de arreglar nuestro tanque de los peces.

Como clase, hemos trabajado en nuestra “resistencia” (haciendo algo durante un largo período de tiempo sin cansarnos ni parar) durante todo nuestro trabajo.
