On Tuesday,  we had our first ZOOM Whole School Assembly.  EEE (Earl Grey Eagles for Equality) together with Mrs. Last told us all about Terry Fox.

This week we are collecting Toonies for Terry. Students can bring their Toonies to their Classroom Teacher and Mrs. Last will collect the money each day.  EEE will count the money and it will be donated for Cancer Research through the Terry Fox family.

On Friday we will have our run.  Grade 1-3 students will run inside the playground in their cohorts and Grade 4 – 8 students will run around the block in their cohorts.  There will be 2 runs in order to keep everyone in their cohorts.

Families are encouraged to talk about family, friends or neighbours that might have experienced the effects of Cancer as students will have the opportunity to write someone’s name on a sticker and dedicate their run to them.
