This Week At School…
This week we will be celebrating our beautiful children- remembering that EVERY CHILD MATTERS. On Friday, we will honour Orange Shirt Day. Stay tuned for more information.
Friday is also our first Pizza Lunch. Our Parent Council is buying pizza for everyone, so make sure to get your order form in.
The Change Makers group will be hosting a fundraiser Bake Sale on Friday, raising awareness about Orange Shirt Day.
This week at school…
This week at school there will be lots of learning, leading, kindness and practicing of safety routines. We will be holding a fire drill as well as an evacuation practice.

International Dot Day!
You know that it has been a phenomenal day when your cheeks hurt from smiling so much! Today was one of those days. Today we all celebrated Peter H. Reynold’s book The Dot. We talked about how to make our mark, even in the smallest way and then we spent the rest of the day on fabulous explorations of dots! Congratulations on making your mark Fort Rouge Learners!

Happy Friday everyone! We had a wonderful first week of school. Our students and teachers got to know each other, set routines and of course started learning! We did it! Our first day together for the 2016-2017 school year. It was so nice to see students and families today, full of smiles and genuine happiness! Our school looks fantastic and our walls can’t wait to display more student work!
