This week at school..

Thursday:  Please feel free to join us for our Remembrance Day Assembly @ 10:50

Now that the weather has gotten colder, please make sure to send students to school dressed appropriately -we only stay inside when the wind chill/temperature dips below -28.  If you are needing any Winter gear, please contact Tammy in our Family Room.

Our glasses should be arriving this week.  We had 48 students requiring glasses!  This is sure to have a tremendous impact on their learning at school.  Thank you to Mobile Vision Clinic for this amazing program.

Next week:  Parent Advisory Council Meeting on November 15th.  We had such a terrific turn out last month- we can’t wait to see you all back!!!

It’s the first day for our littlest learners, NK in room 108 (9:00 – 11:30) and Full Day K in room 102 (9:00 – 3:30).

We will start at 2:30 with an Open House.  Come and visit your child’s classroom in action.  After school, our classrooms will also be open for you to meet with your child’s teacher.  Support staff will be available and our Family Room will be open, hosting Tracy, our WHRA Public Health Nurse.  We look forward to seeing you all!  Look for more information coming home this week.

We will have our first fire drill and evacuation practice.  We practice these safety procedures routinely throughout the year.  When we evacuate, we go to the Labour Ready Building which is across our parking lot.
